CompTIA Acronyms+ ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

2. Information Collection & Data Storage

The App is designed to prioritize your privacy. We do not require you to create an account to use the application.

• Local Data: All your study progress, flashcard mastery levels, and quiz results are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store this data on external servers.
• Purchase Data: We use RevenueCat to validate and manage In-App Purchases. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous user ID to manage your purchase status securely. No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with us.

3. Analytics & Advertising

To deliver technical improvements and relevant App-related advertising, we use the following services:

• Meta (Facebook) SDK: We use this SDK to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by tracking specific events, such as app installations and purchases. This may involve the collection of your Device ID and Purchase History for marketing and tracking purposes.
• Opt-out (App Tracking Transparency): On iOS 14.5 and later, we ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. You can allow or deny this tracking via the standard iOS prompt or within your iOS device Settings.

4. Local Notifications

The App uses local notifications to send you daily study reminders. These notifications are scheduled and processed entirely on your device. No notification token (push token) is sent to our servers or any third-party service.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not intentionally target children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

6. How We Use Data

We use the data collected strictly for functional purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality (offline progress).
• To validate and manage your premium purchase entitlements via RevenueCat.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases.
• Apple App Store: For securely processing payments.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook SDK): For measuring advertising performance.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your study data is stored entirely on your device, deleting the App from your device will permanently erase all your progress and history. Purchase validations are handled by your Apple ID.
